![]() Post back if you want to to discuss more or please accept as solution if this is the info you needed. You do not provide a specific model number just a series number so I can't say what processor you have but this model series only uses i7s and NVME M.2 SSDs so this should be a very fast machine. 16 gigs is a lot of memory and if you perceive your computer to be slow, something else is going on. ![]() The laptop can take 32 gigs but I will be devil's advocate here and suggest that most people do not need to do that upgrade. The memory you ask about would work fine. So you have to find a local regular computer shop to do this for you. In the USA at least HP Service Centers will not install 3rd party memory and they will officially tell you that 16 gigs is the maximum memory so they will have no HP Official Part to install to get you to 32 gigs. If in doubt I would say get some professional help. I do a fair amount of laptop repair and I am sure I would have no problem with this but a couple sticky points for a first-timer include the need to remove and then replace the rubber strip on the bottom and then there is a kind of unique mylar (plastic) cover over the motherboard and memory slots that has to be removed.
